MAIKOR’s FAIRY TALES
On the subject of Fairy Tales and fables, these characters have been created to metaphorically enhance our perceptions of fables and story interpretation over the centuries. What makes these stories so relatable is that we as the onlooker can each identify as the hero, the victim, or the villain. Uniquely seeking attention in the form of help, praise, humour, these characters have been carefully designed to specifically look to you as the viewer… perhaps to connect. As each reveler looks on it is important to note that regardless of the tale behind the illustration it is the viewer in the end that ultimately determines the outcome of the story being told. This is why over the years a series of broken telephones have resulted in the recounting and new conception of fables and stories alike for generations to come.
